One Frame, Standing

The paper closes by asking what comes next; this module answers with the master frame — and places every chapter of the course on it.

Vision · real substrate

echd speaks in the present tense over a build ladder. Every module, verb, key, and port named on this page is real; the composition into one standing platform is the vision the ladder builds.

The module

echd.course.md §5 · the master frame

The paper's closing section looks forward from the theorem to three pressures, and titles that future branded component systems. Scalability: growth needs coordination, and coordination pays the same CAP bill — which is why this platform scales by segmenting, not by consensus: the bus fans out on fair lanes, the memory answers caller-side, and only the ledger pays for agreement. Tolerating attacks: a denial of service is not a partition, and the platform's posture is the honest surface — degraded states rendered, provenance stamped, nothing masked to look healthy. Mobile wireless: unpredictable loss and proximity-first applications — the mesh's geography, where the tunnel carries the surface to the reader and Tigris serves retention close to the requester.

Then the walk. One branded id enters through the tunnel and crosses the whole frame: named at the substrate, gated at the seam, carried by the bus as a JOB, answered by the memory in twenty-nine bytes, booked by the record under RVL, resolved on the surface with its plane and its as_of. Every chapter of the course is one region of this frame — E1 the daemon and its open plane, E2 the seam line, E3–E5 the three owned tiers, E6 the surface bar, E7 the flight deck around it all. The overview ends where the course begins: the frame is standing; the chapters open its rooms.

E7 · the flight deck — tunnel.jonnify.com · Fly edge · Tigris E1 · the substrate — Encore app · daemon :9400 · ws /__encore E2 · the seam — brd14, gate every ingress E3 · the bus emq:{q}: streams · claim E4 · the memory ecc:{t}:{id} · L1/L2 E5 · the record ledger · Graft → Tigris E6 · the surface — echdash :8891 · plane + as_of
E1 — the room under everything. One daemon, a fan of ports, an open JSON-RPC plane, and status.meta carried verbatim. The substrate is kept, read bare-handed, and never wrapped in mystery — the supersession line is drawn exactly where its closed surfaces begin.
E2 — the line through the house. Fourteen bytes, minted once, gated at every ingress. The seam is what lets the tiers below choose different trades and remain one system — the paper's open question, answered with an identity.
E3–E5 — the three owned rooms. The bus carries events, schedules, and jobs on Valkey 9; the memory answers from the nearest honest tier; the record refuses to be eventual. Green rooms answer always; the blue room blocks rather than diverges — segmentation, cashed.
E6 — the window wall. The owned dashboard on :8891: topology as a relation held by a system, requests verbatim, and every answer stamped plane + as_of. The platform is visible, and the visibility tells the truth.
E7 — the deck and the sky. The tunnel carries the surface to the world; the harvest joins every app into one topology; the Fly edge keeps the private organs private and the retention close. The capstone walks one id across all of it.
